The coveted Shield Weaver Armor in Horizon Zero Dawn grants Aloy the ability to absorb 500 HP damage on Normal difficulty. This value is lower on the harder difficulties, but it’s still a very cool piece of armor to get that allows Aloy to be as aggressive as possible in combat. So how do you get Shield Weaver armor in Horizon Zero Dawn?

Unlock the quest

In the middle of the embrace on the east side of the map, players can find an area called the Bunker. After solving the puzzle inside, players will unlock the way forward and some doors to the left of the hallway. Following the hallway leads to the main quest, and once you reach the supply crate near some stalagmites and stalactites, the power cell is right next to it.

The armor itself cannot be modded, however, it absorbs damage up to 500 hp on normal difficulty. On Hard, Very Hard and Ultra Hard difficulty, this value is reduced to 300, 167, and 125, respectively. While wearing the armor, Aloy cannot be stunned by ranged attacks, making her able to shoot without hiding for cover or entangle anyone who dares draw a bow at her. When the armor shield is depleted, it starts flashing red and does not turn blue again until it is fully recharged. When fully charged, it beeps to indicate it is full.

On higher difficulties, the recharge rate is the same speed, causing it to refill more often due to the lower max HP. Using armor can be useful in the game, however, using mods that increase damage can be more useful towards the end game.
